At least 67 people have been confirmed dead after a devastating fire broke out at the multi-storey Gul Plaza shopping centre in Sindh province, Pakistan. Emergency teams recovered additional remains as they continued searching the severely damaged building, where identification has been made difficult due to the condition of the debris. 

Officials report that the blaze spread rapidly through shops containing cosmetics, clothing, and plastic goods, and the cause remains under investigation, though a short circuit is suspected.
